Hood moved for summary judgment, disclaiming liability for James obligations. The City responded by arguing, for the first time, that James was the alter-ego of Hood. The trial court granted summary judgment in Hoods favor. Over a year later, the City moved for reconsideration and to amend its complaint, but its motion was denied.
